The fungi are the Conifer tuft. Their quiet lives with the filaments are extending into the dark earth, their neighbours the echidnas shuffling along. I think of the connection with our ancestors, at this time in La Roque Gagaec. Their life, like ours, of the above ground life, depending on the subterranean.
