Our second son, Gabriel, spoke often of Mr Sun who seemed to represent the Sun, a deity, and his father. He is drawn looking out at the sun, stopping from drawing to say more about it all. "Mr Sun, when he is there, robbers and wolves won't look in. At night, when he goes . . . under the sea, he gives a great light for all the fishes." Some of the drawings are copies of Gabriel's own drawings, as a record for him. Also, the syntax of the words, such as "at night he sings they songs".
