The owl was sitting outside our home in Kangarilla. Two of my boys were with me and we watched it rotate its head. Owl calls came from down in the valley. A friend told me she saw people in a gallery looking at this etching - their heads attempting the same rotation. For this etching I used the same technique as the Psalm: sugar lift with a second plate to get the sky colour and the reds.
